The Web is changing into a vehicle of structured and heterogeneous contents. In our vision, the goal of next generation information retrieval tools will be to support semantics, personalization, context awareness and seamless access to highly variable data and messages coming both from document repositories and ubiquitous sensors and devices. DART'09 is aimed at putting together practitioners and researchers working on pervasive and intelligent access to web services and distributed information.
Submissions must be original contributions that neither have been published nor have been under review for publication elsewhere.
Paper submissions should be limited to a maximum of 4 pages in the IEEE 2-column format, and will have a peer review by the Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to the workshop topics, originality, significance, and clarity. To submit a paper please visit: http://wi-consortium.org/cyberchair/wiiat09/scripts/ws_submit.php (workshop #17).
Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society Press. The corresponding-authors will be notified at all time, for the submission, notification, and confirmation on the attendance.
Submitting a paper to the workshop means that, if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the conference to present the paper and should then register to the conference with a regular fee.
Authors of accepted papers will be invited to publish an extended version in a Springer series conference-inspired book (further information will be soon available on the workshop homepage).
Important Dates:
The length of accepted papers should NOT exceed 4 pages (IEEE-CS format, extra payment is only available for one more extra page).
